After I got out, I knew this was something extraordinary because my heart was beating faster. I was wondering - "how did this happen?" I asked this question later and the reply was it was due to the combination of far infrared light rays and the negative ion effect of millions of ozonated, ultrasonic bubbles hitting the suspended body. Made sense, and as I did research on these technologies, it came together. This was in Asia, so I bought one of the machines and took it back home on the plane along with the essential botanical oils that are used with it during the spa.

My 12" deep bathtub, even with curtains drawn, did little justice for what this spa machine was fully capable of doing. Although I could not recreate an entire spa experience, the thalassotherapy properties of the spa were at work and I remembered my experience in Asia. Being the entrepreneur that I am, and convinced that the SG-2000 could potentially be the centerpiece of a whole new kind of spa business, I decided to invest in a small retail service spa business. I built out two spa rooms out with a lounge for relaxation.

But in retrospect I would say I did this more for myself and my family's health more than anything. Since opening in early-April 2007, I have had several people come back every week for a spa. The testimonies are favorable.

After several months of taking a spa nearly every day, I can now start telling my own testimony. What differences has the spa made in my life? Here they are - one after another -

• I know what it feels like to be a twenty-something again. There is a full-body potency feeling.

• Soft, smooth skin, and a blemish-free body.

• Improved eyesight. I frequently sit in front of a compter as a business owner. In the last year I had noticed a deterioration of my eyesight to the point of getting close to getting my eyes checked. An eye check is no longer necessary. My eyesight is fine.

• Loss of weight. Although I had lost some weight by drinking Xango, a mangosteen juice in the prior year, the spa made me lose an extra five pounds and counting. So far I have gone from 203 to 177 in 15 months, all safely and permanently lost (I'm 5'11"). I'm currently in a 34 pants size, down from the original 38, and I can slip into a 32. Update, November 2007: waist 33", weight 167. Update 6/09, size 32 waist, weight 165.

• Evidence of prostate shrinkage. I used to get up an average of 1-2 times per night, now it's 0-1 times on the average, and if I do get up it's hardly ever before 4:45am. Update 6/09, get up about 4:30 once every couple of nights, with no real urgency ever.

• Very healthy bowel movements. 

• Feeling of occassional depression alleviated. I used to drag somewhat in getting things done. No longer. My productivity is higher than ever. Update 6/09, no feeling sick and tired ever, no aches and pains ever. 12/08 fall on ice: bad pain in lower back. Pain GONE in 36 hours. This would normally take 10-12 days of misery to disappear.

• Lots of energy - and feeling good. I never feel sick and tired.

• Sensitivity to toxins. My body is more aware of them when I'm around them and the immune system immediately reacts to repel the toxin.

• Mysterious itchy rash on back of hand, the kind that comes and goes and is not serious enough to ever have checked, has disappeared. This had been going on for years and now it's gone and I dare say with confidence it may never come back. Update 6/09, two winters have gone by with no rash whatsoever.

• Renewed interest in more exercise and working out. Update 6/09: Since 10/08, get up 4-5 mornings at 5:45AM to stretch and do sprints. Age 51. I never did this before; I want to do it.

• Renewed interest in going organic. Update 6/09, eating healthy greens, seeded breads, healthy foods. Entire family drinks only Atlantispa Water with Carbones.

• Interest in holism as a new way of life.

• Symptoms of the common cold either infrequent or greatly reduced - this is still being evaluated as I live in a 4-season environement. previously I would go almost the entire season in with minor cold-like symptoms, with at least one severe flu. Update 6/09, either no sign or extremely diminished signs of cold symptoms for whole family for two years. Easy breathing.

I an astonished at some of these findings in my own body. It shows that Nature's most basic elements, when working together, can heal the body. I have proven that the effects of aging can be reversed, and finally, slowed down and stabilized. I not only feel, but expect to live well in excess of 100 years. I can personally show the world that one can also be fully involved in life, be productive, and with a sound mind at 100 years and more. I feel there is so much living, and wonder and amazement in life. This is my testimony of what the Atlantispa water thalasophy lifestyle has done for me.
