A spa method using ancient knowledge and updated with modern technology can effectively stop accelerated aging, an Iowa man states.
Michael Grady of Davenport, Iowa claims that the combination of hydrotherapy with an externally mounted bathtub spa machine and then rehydrating afterwards with specially filtered alkaline water is the key to not only longevity, but to long-lasting beauty, health and just generally “feeling good” every day.
Grady says that he started using both water machines in early 2007 at an experimental spa he founded in Davenport and has found outstanding results in both himself, his family and a few clients who have bought into the technologies, mostly doctors and celebrities.
“Using these technologies has resulted in a completely different lifestyle for us. We spa up to four times per week, one at a time, and rehydrate with the special water afterwards. As a result, our bodies are completely detoxed, none of us ever gets sick, the children get great grades, and everybody feels good and is happy.”
The technologies the spa procedure use include ozone, far infra-red, ultrasonic bubbles, oxygen, submicron bio-filtration, aromatherapy, and electrolysis. Key to the success of both machines is the production of negative ions, which neutralize positive-ioned free radicals in the body. Some of the technologies in the machines do not radically differ from the next generation of hydrogen cars, which burn water. The electrolysis drinking water filtration machine has an additional side effect of alkalinizing saliva, which makes one crave more for green foods, and less for processed, over-acidic foods. This aids in the slimming and beautification of the body.
“A body has an optimal body weight and age, and we find that the machines and natural elements help take us to where we need and want to be with being who we are. Essentially what we are doing in this spa is fluid waste removal through the profound activation of the lymphatic system – sweating out acidic wastes – and then rehydrating with special life-giving water. This ancient yet updated practice is called balneotherapy and I have dubbed the new philosophy of life 'thalassophy', in honor of thalassotherapy, as it evolves the mind, body and soul toward a 'water spa' lifestyle,” said Grady.
