Q. I already own a whirlpool. Will the Atlantispa SG-2000 fit into it?

A. Yes. The SG-2000 will fit into any existing bathtub. Some existing bathtubs and jacuzzis may require an adapter on the bottom of the tub in order for the unit's mat to adhere. We can help make this work.

Q. Is it true that my whilrpool and hot tub could be a harbinger of viruses and bacteria? 

A. Unfortunately, yes. The fact is, most owners do not keep up or cut corners with demanding, expensive and necessary jetted and piped tub maintenance. Salmonella and E Coli (Gastroenteritis), Staphylococcus (eye and wound infections), Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (skin, eye and ear irritatio), Candida Krusei (Thrush), Trichophyton Mentagrephytes (Athlete’s Foot) and Legionella (Legionnaire's Disease) are among the microzoa typically found  in the "unseen side" of a typical whirlpool, jacuzzi or hot tub:

This is one other reason why an SG-2000 would be of benefit to convert any jacuzzi/whirlpool tub into a therapeutic hydrotherapy tub. Q. I already own an infrared sauna. Can I still use it with the Atlantispa? 

A. Yes. Any FIR sauna is completely complementary with an SG-2000. If one wants to use the far infrared effects of the sauna, take the spa afterwards starting at about 100F instead of 104F. The ozone, ultrasonic bubbles and aromatherapy have their own unique healing properties separate from the far-infrared effect. Consider also going with Dead Sea (15 nutrients) or Himalayan salt (84 nutrients) spas at this lower temperature for absorbing these healing minerals during the spa.
