According to Atlantispa founder, Michael Grady, thalassophy is an integrated water and herbs holistic lifestyle system of diet, exercise, right life work, psycho-emotional spiritual, detoxification and correct nutritional supplements. Grady states that thalassophy is derived from the word thalassotherapy (from the Greek word thalassos, meaning "sea"), which is the medical use of seawater. "Therapists who prescribe this integrated way of life are honorary thalassophers”, states Grady.
